It invests in the stocks of large-cap and mid-cap companies. The fund seeks to replicate the performance of the MSCI All Country Asia ex Japan Index, by employing representative sampling methodology. It was formerly known as iShares Asia Trust - iShares MSCI AC Asia ex Japan Index ETF.
